Vilakazi Street 2017

In order for our learners and staff to travel to Portugal, we needed to get authorization to travel there, and this lead to a trip to Johannesburg for Visas.

After a morning of waiting, interviews and pictures for the visas, Mr Seheri (Principal) took the opportunity to take the group to Vilakazi street for an educational tour of our history. The group visited the Hector Pieterson Memorial, saw the late Nelson Mandela’s home as well as the Archbishop Desmond Tutu’s home. The learners were treated to a trip down memory lane of the events that took place there and our own principal as the tour guide for the group.

After an afternoon of learning, and a walk through the feet of giants, the group sat down for a meal of local cuisine at Sakhumzi restaurant.
