Day 2 – NTU & NUS

After a morning session at Touchstone International Institute, the team paid a visit to Nanyang Technological University where they visited various laboratories and the Lee Wee Nam Library. Photos could not be taken inside the labs in order to protect the work existing students are undertaking. The trip was an eye opener for our students who got a glimpse as to what to expect on campus. The students also looked at Lecture Theatre 1 and enjoyed lunch in the student dinning hall. The team also went to

“The Nanyang Technological University (Abbreviation: NTU) is a public and autonomous university in Singapore. The National University of Singapore (Abbreviation: NUS) is a public and autonomous university in Singapore. Founded in 1905, it is the oldest institute of higher learning (IHL) in Singapore, as well as the largest university in the country in terms of student enrolment and curriculum offered. NUS is a research-intensive, comprehensive university with an entrepreneurial dimension.

NUS is consistently ranked as one of Asia’s top universities by both UK ranking systems, the QS World University Rankings and the Times Higher Education World University Rankings.
